Making project companies
look good

Hiflow Industries has a strong presence in the mechanical services refurbishment sector. We specialise in refurbishments for high and low rise buildings, shopping centres, government laboratories and facilities, universities and TAFE colleges, server rooms, general building structures and tenancies. Our specialist skill and experience has contributed to us forming strategic alliances with a number of project companies in Queensland and New South Wales. We are well known in the mechanical services refurbishment sector for providing strategic solutions that not only improve a project's design, we deliver cost effective results on time and within budget. Recently completed refurbishment projects include:
157 Ann Street, Brisbane
We performed the demolition and make good of 12 levels of this 16 storey high rise building. This included the fan coil units, exhaust fans, mechanical switch boards, VAV's, pumps and fresh air system.
50 Ann Street, Brisbane
We modified the existing VAV and FCU configurations to suit the new floor plan layout and heat load requirements (2 levels). We also modified the existing system by upgrading airflow capacities and linear diffusers, including commissioning and air balances.
241 Adelaide Street, Brisbane
We performed fit outs on some floors of this building. The work included the supply and installation of additional chilled water fan coil units, condenser water DX in ceiling package units, VAV reconfigurations, air balancing and additional capacity adjustments.
50 McDougall Street, Milton
This refurbishment of two floors required us to increase the capacity of the existing base air conditioning, including the supply and installation of supplementary fan coil units, ductwork, control alterations, flexes and grills. We also performed all the air balancing and system commissioning.
Amity Retirement Village, New Farm
We performed the total mechanical services refurbishment of this entire facility. The project was broken up into two stages. Due to the design of this facility it required us to install a VRV three pipe system with a central controlling front end and multiple heat cool function. We also modified the existing mechanical ventilation systems and toilet exhaust system.
Centro Tweed Heads Shopping Centre
We decommissioned four existing package units and modified the duct configuration to allow for the four new units. We manufactured and installed new supply air duct work along with return air duct and plenums. We also reinstated four other package units by overhauling them, including replacing all of their condenser coils, sight glasses, driers and rusted frame work.
Centro Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
We decommissioned the existing evaporative cooler system and supplied and installed 225Kw of cooling capacity to the designated tenancy. This project was performed after hours to minimise any disturbance to the tenants and to allow the long distant crane lift from the main road to reach the desired air conditioning units locations.
Centro Springwood Shopping Centre
We decommissioned three existing package units and modified the duct configuration to allow for three new package units. We also upgraded the mechanical electrical power supplies.
Centro Toombul Shopping Centre
We have performed numerous tenancy fit outs and mechanical plant upgrades consisting of new package units, fan coil units, AHU overhauls additional capacity implementation and air balancing and commissioning.
Kenmore Village Shopping Centre
We upgraded some of the air conditioning and mechanical plant including four 95Kw package units, one 140Kw AHU, one 25Kw package unit, one 18Kw package unit and two 14Kw ducted units.
